We needed a truck one day and so we were looking at what caught our eye. It was a long bed Chevy. I was interested in the truck at first since there was something there that reminded me of an old truck my mother had. And besides it wouldn't be so bad to get it. So we took it for a test drive. It was at first rowdy from sitting at the lot but soon drove smoothly. I had a good feeling about it. It was simple as that, we bought the truck and took it home. The truck turned out to be a pal after that. It named itself Jake since it fit perfectly. Jake makes me smile still when we take him out on the road.
